ALTERNATIVE INVESTOR VISA AND INITIAL
INVESTOR RESIDENCE PERMIT

ALTERNATIVE 1

WITH AN INVESTOR VISA PRIOR TO APPLYING FOR A RESIDENCE PERMIT FOR INVESTMENT.

  • Schengen Tourist Visa/Schengen Business Visa/Letter of Invitation.
  • Visit to Spain. Selection of investment product. Investment in real estate for an amount of 500.000€ + taxes (10% approx), or Deposit contract for 500.000€ in a Spanish bank for real estate investment, Deposit in a Spanish bank for 1.000.000€ for other investments.
    If the investment has already been made or is in progress, the investor visa can be applied for directly.
  • INVESTOR VISA. Valid for 1 year. For the applicant and family (spouse, children under 18 years of age or over 18 years of age dependent on parents). Processing time at Consulate 10 working days after application.
  • Visit Spain at least once. Make investment.
  • INITIAL RESIDENCE PERMIT INVESTOR for 2 years renewable 5+5 years with maintenance of investment. Access to permanent residence (live in Spain 4 years and 2 months in 5 years with departures of no more than 6 months). Access to naturalisation (living in Spain 8 years and 4 months in the last 10 years and living in Spain at least 6 months a year).

For the applicant and direct family (spouse, children under 18 years old or over 18 years old dependent of the parents). Processing time 20 working days after submitting the application in Spain.

ALTERNATIVE 2

WITHOUT PRIOR INVESTOR VISA. DIRECT APPLICATION FOR AN INITIAL INVESTOR RESIDENCE PERMIT FOR 2 YEARS.

  • IF THE INVESTOR IS IN SPAIN LEGALLY ( Schengen Visa ) AND WITH INVESTMENT MADE, possibility to apply directly for INITIAL INVESTOR RESIDENCE PERMIT without leaving Spain.
